This is probably a really stupid question haha but is there a difference between the black fox shocks and the blue ones? I have never seen the black, only blue. Anyway I just bought some 2.5 10inch coilovers and they were black so just wondering. (I like the look of the black way better haha)

Thanks,
Dillon

now on to the tech part... how do I determine what length coils i need? I know how to get the spring rate but not the length.

Call Poly Performance to get the springs, tell them what you're using them on and they'll get you the right ones.

Also Fox switched to black on some of their shocks a while back, don't know why (maybe so they looked less like Kings, but more like Radflows?), but my freind ordered a set of 4 durring the change-ove and got 3 blacks and a blue. Fox said there were no differences, and offered to trade it out, instead he kept it and it's now the "lucky shock"

I believe you can order any shock in black. It is a cosmetic change only.

Thanks for the recommendation.

They didn't necessarily "switch" to black, they just started offering it as an option for the same cost. And as Beat95YJ said, they are far more Bro-Tastic.
