I need some good designs for front fender mods! If anybody has some pics, I would be stoked to see them.:skull:

Hey, Trenton, sorry couldn't make the parade. I hear your FJ45 kicks ass though (from Dan, red/white 55). I think you should make some tube from fenders with some sheet metal or diamond plate on them. From what I hear it would go well with the back half of your 45. I should be at the club meeting Wed.

There is about 14' of 1.5x.120 tubing in the whole fender including the inner frame and frame tie in tubes, so at 1.769 lbs per ft your looking at 24.766 lbs.
The cover panels are .063 aluminum and might weigh a pound a piece.

Geez that is a whole lot less than I thought. I have about 15 feet in my shock hoops of 1.75 X.120 HREW tube and I was really suprised how much material as in footage, it took to make two little hoops and a cross brace. Didn't use 1.5" tube because I bought a 2" and 1.75" die with the bender. I'm starting to figure that I need to get a 1.5 die in addtion.
