I am going to buy a set of 3 1/2" lift coils from wild horses or bronco graveyard. First of all, which one is better to buy from? Second, do you need a drop trac bar bracket to run 3 1/2" lift coils, just a 7`bushing kit, both, or neither?

Thanks a lot

you need the bushings to correct Caster regardless of the drop bracket.
The drop bracket is to help with bumpsteer. but the Steering link AND the Track Bar need to be parallel to work so a drop bracket and a drop pitman arm are in order unless going with the F-100 steering box which drops the location of the pitnman arm all by itself and does not reguire the drop pitman too.

None of it is nessacary if you can deal with the handling quirks.

well I ordered the busking kit, flares, and lift coils, I didn't get the drop bracket. I got a power steering pump off a 78 ford f-150 with a 302 and I am going to look for a box off of a f100.

Thanks a lot

not sure about the older Broncos but you can run 3" coils on the 79's without them all you need is degreed bushings
