i have a 96 f-350 with a basically stock 460 that needs exhaust. WHAT MUFFLER SHOULD I GET THAT ISN`T AS LOUD AS THE CURRENT FLOWMASTER DUALS but will flow good with future motor upgrades and have decent sound ? i am wanting to go with single exhaust. also what size pipe?

Go with something that flows, like a straight through glasspack style muffler(im not talking abou cherry bombs either) Dynomax bullets are a damn nice muffler, that flow way better than what you have. But they are fairly loud when you get into it. However, all the BBF's I've heard with them sounded really, really nice.

Mines routed just like stock but I used all 3" and a 1in 1out high flow cat. It dumps right after the cat with no muffler. Had a 40 series flowmaster on it but it was to quiet. Sounds nice and deep only sets car alarms once in a while, and its still quieter than dual straight pipes.

thanks for the info . but iwould like to get something that doesn`t draw alot of attention to the truck
