That would probably do much more damage than good. It is the ASHEVILLE paper, that whole town is just a bunch of crunchy tree hugging hippies.

So I am safe to assume that you are calling the 100+ rig that are in Asheville tree huggers. Well I doubt it. So we are the only place in the south with hippies? You really need to get out more and get your head out of your ass.:flipoff2: As far as were concerned keep your ass in FL.

Oh give me a break. You know that that town is totally Sierra Club. Of course not everyone is, but a large percentage of the of the population is. Yeah there is hippies in other parts of the south but their capitol is Asheville, and I would totally expect this attitude out of the Asheville paper, they're just trying to make the readers happy:flipoff2:

Man don't take this personal. We need to stick together here. Asheville is full of tree huggers. Look at the board of directors and staff pages of the SELC's webpage. There are a lot of members located in Asheville and Chapel Hill which If there is a 100 rigs in Asheville than organize a protest and have it on the SELC's front lawn. :D

The best way to get after them is hit them in their wallett. Don't do any business with the lawyers or board members of the SELC.

i agree 100%. we all need to fight hard for this. Tellico Rocks is a up coming offroad news letter and mag. im working very hard on getting out there very soon. We will keep everyone posted on all tellico events as well as other close to home trail, reader rides, competition coverage in the east, and much more. please stay posted becuase we are also starting a offroad club and all donations will go to keeping tellico and local trails going. im located here in murphy and all my very close friends depend on tellico for there lives. lets please all work together on this. on a second note that was a pretty good comment to the guy from florida. i think they are taking over this town. and on a third note ashville is full of granola eating hippies. thanks for keeping tellico going and keep posted on these threads.

TR, get your local government involved. Harlan County Kentucky is a perfect example of what good can happen to a county that gets behind the ORV crowd. Cherokee County has a lot to loose here also. I am sure they depend on the tax base of tourism.
