Actually it IS a Brasil thang...:flipoff2:

Also the rest of South America, as well as Austrailia, NZ, Japan and other places in Aisa.

Itīs a factory coil sprung truck, which served as the test bed for development of suspension for the new POS Jimny. While the coily Sami in stock format sucks big-time off-road, after tweaking it a little, it turns into a respectable performer...

Mine is more than just a little tweaked, tho, so it performes a bit better than respectable:D :roxy:

What are hard to beat for the price, coily Samis or the POS Jimny??

IMHO, the Jimny sucks just too much to make it worth the time and effort it would take to make it even passable off-road. Sure, you could strip it and sawzall it into submission, but it STILL would be an XTerra with Zuk badges...:( :rainbow:

And now for a retarded Newbie question... I tried to search for the answer, but I guess the expression is too common...

WexactlyTF does "get it" mean??

Try an online translator for Californian -> English :D

But I think "kicks ass" is probably a pretty close synonym.

Is the Jimny IFS? IFS sux. Solid axles get it. Got it?

Got it....:D

The Jimny is solid axle and coil sprung. with a basic 03 link suspension front and rear. The coily Samurai is exactly the same setup, but with longer control arms and slightly heavier springs.

What sucks about the Jimny in relation to the Sami are the wheel well opening sizes and the massive use of plastic on everything. Like I said, you could Sawzall it to death, but itīd still not be anyting but a poor excuse for a 4x4...
