On '78-'79 RC D44's how far does the tube go in the pass. side knuckle?? If I was to cut between the C-bracket & the knuckle would I still catch the tube, or does the tube stop at the C-bracket??

the tube goes into the knuckle probably 3/4" - 1"

Into the actual 'knuckle', or the C bracket, because its one piece.
So if its 3/4 - 1" into the knuckle, that would mean 4-5" into the C bracket. Know what I mean? (hard to explain)
