I'm trying to find a cheap 17" 8 lug rim, like just some black plain janes. I can't seem to find anything, anyone know where I might find some?

lol um, yeah.

do you see any of the ARCA competitors running their 37" MTRs for a 17" rim on steelies? nope... alloy only. good luck pal.

hey never know there might be some guy out in his shop somewhere turning them out. Just because the ARCA boys don't have or run them doesn't mean they don't exist. :D

Good luck pal??? God you are a condescending little sh#t. Your best bet is going to be looking at companies that build custom steel wheels. Checl out hot rod mags and hot rod internet sites. The thing you're going to run into is that having them fabbed is going to cost almost as much as some of the cheaper alloy 17" rims.;) Happy hunting.:D

At the St. George Uroc competition there was a guy selling both beadlocked and non beadlocked steel 17" rims. If I can remember who it was I will get back to you. I am sure that someone else that was out there can remember. I know Brent Ornton (sp) was out there too. He might remember.

oh and 9 volt.
F$%k off.....

 :shaking:

For other reasons not relating to this??? Basically looks like you answered the guys post with no info but saw a chance to be a smart a$$. Keep it to yourself. You also might try heavy equipment suppliers, sometimes they have odd useful things.

That was Factory Tubular...for the beadlocks it was about $300 and I dont know how much for the non-beadlocked but I am sure you will still pay over a bill per wheel...HTH

If you want to redrill the lugs you can try and find the spares off an ford expidition. I think they would be pretty cool looking, being that they are a solid dish type.
goodluck
I think rockstomper sells some, or at least could point you in the right direction since he makes beadlocks for them.
goodluck

:D I DO NOT miss finals. Goodyear has a 37x12.5x15, the Swamper SSR (weak sidewalls apparently) and Parnelli Jones has a 15". There are also 37x11.0x15 Boggers and I think a bias Swamper.:D

I'll second that. I talked to Rick at EJS(when he was still with Factory Tubular), and he told me somewhere around $100 for the 17" steel wheels.

Scott does sell the 17" beadlocked rims, by special order, check them out on his website

www.rockstomper.com or call him.

Stockton wheel might make you some, they seemed pretty easy to deal with, quoted me $75per on custom 16" HDs.

Yeah I am aware of the 15" mtr, but personally I think the 17" rim is better and I don't want to shave my calipers.

The Factory Tubular rims are 8lug?

For what it's worth, this came off of www.car-part.com
1999 Ford Expedition Wheel 17x7-1/2, Stl., pnted, exc. 9 hole- SPAR $40 3207 Sams Riverside Auto Salvage 1-800-383-2163 E-mail
There are 19 pages of expidition wheels nationwide, out of those, there should be 5 steel spare wheels to choose from.
Now is the 8 lug bolt pattern standard or metric? Where the 17" wheels 8 lug. Not sure, but some one should have an idea.
Be cool to do these with rockstompers weld on beadlocks.
Hope this will help some. Andy
:) :beer::beer:

Realized the Expedition is built on the F150 platform, Excursion is on the Superduty platform. Only saw 16x7 listed in car-part.com for the Excursion. Sorry, I know search first then post.
