the A/C in my '02 TJ won't switch over to blow out the dash vents. It just has air coming out of the defroster vents and floor. Any idea's?
Thanks.

Either a vaccum hose came off one of the selector motors or the motor itself blew a diaphram. Being so new I would take it to the dealership...

As many changes I have made to mine I still take to the dealership when I have problems with things that I have not changed. What will it hurt, its free.

Just make sure you take a camera when you take that TJ to the dealer... I want to see the look on the service manager's face

Note: this is assuming you're talking about the red TJ that you lopped the ass off of

the red one would be a 98, I believe he was talking about a '02 unless he did the same thing to this new one.

but I will tell you that it is fun to see the look on the manager's face when I take my TJ in to get work done on it. I guess I will not be doing it any more sence mine just ran out a 36000 miles and there is no way that I am going to pay the money to get the extended.

Thanks guys. The dealers pretty busy and I don't really want to drop it off...i'm just going to see if I can fix it first.
BTW it's not my red one, I bought an '02 last week (I needed a street Jeep) I've already lifted it and put it on Swampers, still got the paper tags on it:D

Understood :D

But why not 33" BFG AT's or something? You'd get an easy 40,000 mile out of em. :)

If I was buying new tires I would of gone with the AT's , I've just been bolting stuff on it I had in the garage left over from the red TJ redo.
When these wear out I'll mount some more street friendly ones on it. I DO love the TSL whine!:D
