i need one of those bastard ujoints for going from a half ton driveshaft into a 82 14bolt. i went to autozone and bought the 3-3130 which is the ones i had to use when i went to older half ton axles but those caps were just a hair to small. anyone know a part number?

I'm looking at a box right now, Precision from O'Reilly's 348

that looks like it too. there aint none of those stores around here. im surrounded by them but they are all like 40 miles away in every direction. napa is about 5 miles away. theres a place in town i might be able to get it from using the napa number. thanks alot. it took me hours before at autozone trying to explain the situation to find that other ujoint.

After thought. I just did this recently. My local Napa also has a machine shop and builds driveshafts. I was able to buy a new end for my drive shaft <my slip is at the axle end> and make it take a regular 1350 joint. If there is a shop near you that builds driveshafts, they should be able to help you. And they will also be more help with finding conversion joints too.

yeah what i was thinking is i have the actual driveshaft that came with these axles. i was gonna have it cut down to fit and use that in the truck and then buy that inbread ujoint for this other driveshaft for a back up driveshaft to leave in the truck.
