Its going to be my vehicle to get me from point A to point B with a little detour to the off-road. Im finishing up on getting my 460 swap for my truck done and getting ready to move on to making it look like a bada$$ off road machine. So my question is, does anyone have any suggestion for a semi-cheap way to beff up this truck? I have some pretty old pics at cardomain...

4" lift - superflex coils - dont drop the arms - make them 12-14" longer - drop pitman - adj trac arm
rear - shackle flip - add a traction bar ( like a sams off road )
put in a rear spool - and front right lock
cut the fenders and run no less than 37s
post up pics of the truck
and let us bash you
now - do it - faster - were waiting

x2, but I'd do an ARB up front...had both and ARB (OX, etc.) is alot better...do this later and leave the front open if you can't afforrd it atm.

Great suggestions. You only need to lift the front if you want to flex & run fenders. 37's will fit with no fenders.:grinpimp:
I'd go Detroit in the rear & OX in the front. And you might need some gears, depending on use & how built the 460 is.
Bob the rear.
Screw the shackle flip. Go with Deaver Superflex 10-leaf pack.
If your 37s don't say Interco somewhere on them, don't bother coming back.:flipoff2:

gfbgreaser289 07-23-2007, 07:30 AM best way to do this is run 5 ton military leaves in the front and 2.5 ton springs in the rear. that 460 is an unheard of engine in that lil truck you'll need good leaves to hold it up. then run a hpd44. thats about the only axle that will hold up to that much torque. fuck lockers just weld it. it's better then arb and ox and alot stronger in the long run. and make sure you have a 203. the 205's are garbage
