I think about swaping intakes. I was wondering if a mustang intake would fit? the reason is more air flow and better choices. I got a 1989 ford e150 with a 5.0 motor. The plan for my motor is a 347 kit with heads from world and holly intake uper and lower with cam and roller rockers.

Since you didn't provide any background info, it's a bit more difficult. A$$uming it's a truck 5.0, then yes a Mustange intake will fit. :flipoff2:

but, you have to change everything. throttle bodies, intake tubes... you have to basically make the upper half of the old 5.0 into a 5.0 mustang. find two side by side and compair.

You can't just put a car upper on a truck lower, they are way different, the TB would probably run right into the side of the doghouse on a van.

Besides, the truck intake is better than the stang unit anyways..

and FWIW, the holley lower IS a truck intake..
