Instead I volunteered to be the rep for Cal4 for the Shasta/Trinity NF, and will be spending mucho $ on fuel trying to drive to all the meeting, making countless phone calls, and printing a huge number of flyers to be handed out. So :p No really though, it is what I could do, and I feel better knowing what is going on and that I'm doing what I can. I feel better than just throwing out some money and hoping for the best. Last year I donated $100 or $200 to BRC (in addition to my membership dues), but now things are really starting to heat up with the TNF jerking us around with their "extreme" fire danger when none of the other nearby NF's are even close.
