this makes me very very happy. my new rear tera 60 weighs in at 250 pounds complete with 4 link mounts.

40 spline gun drilled full float axles
aluminum hubs
vented rotors
willwood calipers
cro-molly spool
.250 wall cro-molly axle tubes.

nope. i am not sure if the aluminum ones are even real production units or if they were just made as one offs. but at 250 lbs i am pleased with my effort of keeping it light.

Did you break the 40 spline non-gun drilled axles?

whats next? Throw some reduction hubs on for a little added "beef" :flipoff2:

How does an aluminium hub work? You would think it would be the weak link.

Just for comparision my "british" 60 is 400lbs+

no i did not break a 40 spline non gun drilled. i gun drilled them just to save weight.

no the hub is not the weak link. it uses a steel drive plate. it is the same hub sandy cone builds for all the desert race trucks that run 700 hp and do 130 mph in the desert. the weak link is the r/c gear since i am running on the coast side of the gears.

i will get some pics up latter.

that doesn't sound like it will work. Better send it to me, so i can scrap it.

How much glitter did you have to sell for this setup?
