Is it possible on a highboy? to use a chevy or dodge dana 60 meaning the spring with and getting a passenger side drop t-case. instead of using a Dana 60 of off a 78-79 ford

why dont you find out the perch width by searching. ford runs a 31.5 inch spacing on there pad. but ford runs 3" leaves and chevy's use 2.5" and im pretty sure they arent as wide.

There was a guy back in Jacksonville, NC who owned a 4x4 shop/Scrap yard who did exactly what you’re asking about. Except he kept the Ford divorce case and just had the front drive shaft go across from driver side to passenger side. He said that he went through u-joints quite often, but other than that, it worked out OK. He didn’t get into the particulars about the leaf spring width issue, but almost anything is possible if you’re willing to work at it.
