I built a cj-7 complete frame up. I have autometer guages, I am on my 2nd fuel sending unit in the 20gal factory tank. The guage and sender used to work all the time. now the guage will only read from empty to 1/2 a tank, when its full. Is it the guage or wiring, of am I getting junk senders. Anybody run in to this, Its driving me crazy. What are the ohms supposed to be on the sender? Thanks guys.

No body has had this problem huh? I searched for it on here and found a bunch of people with similar problems, but nobody posts how they fixed their problem. Thanks.:flipoff2:

I had that problem in my 15 gal tank, turned out the float wasnt floating so well. I would drop the tank, even though it sucks, and check the float. Also check that the sender has a full range of motion in the tank
