285/75's are about 33X11.25

How much did you pay for the tires? What brand?

Interco Truxus Swamper muds. I used the 4wpw coupon that was posted a few weeks ago and had 5 of them shipped to my door for 498.00. If your looking for a low cost tire a bunch of other Disco guys like the Futura tires made by Cooper Pep Boys has them for ~88.00 a tire.

I also took advantage of that coupon, yeah- call me a sheeple too. I ordered a pair of 255/85R16 Trxus tires for the rear of my 2wd F-250 and just put them on yesterday. They're roughly 33x10 tires.

I think i'm going to put in 2" or 3" OME springs and a 235x85x16 tire or something like a 31" tire.
This is the wifes truck.

You will not get 3" out of OME Springs. RTE springs will set ya back $40.00 more for a set of 4 and you will get a true 3" What gears do you have? My disco has 3.54 and I'm going to 4.10 after the tires are on. The 235/85 is like almost a 32 (31.7)I'm not up on what came on a classic RR but the hard core Rover guys seem to hang out at www.discoweb.org (http://www.discoweb.org)
