DSI 06-09-2002, 11:15 PM tore the front end down to check spline's bearings, and do a lil cleaning on the front axle, and noticed the cap had some brass sticking out of it... only 1 cap like this, i had both axles out and in the solvent tank cleaning around the joint's checking today since they're a BITCH to get apart!!! I am fairly confident that he will be more than glad to help you with any problem you have with those joints. I do have to agree with the stop adjustment or clearancing of the yokes. Even the pins on those big joints don't enjoy a bunch of side load. That's how we broke one. Not the joints fault. We also noticed we had started to extrude the bushing and can only relate it to the side load. The problem with the hardened yokes is that you don't get that little mark to be much larger no matter how much they are binding. The material is just too hard.
