i am using a GM round A/C pump, what should i use to lube it up? motor oil? gear oil?

I just installed one a couple weeks ago as well (the new one with the serp belt) and thought that I could just run a bunch of duralube through it first and then once in a while after that. It lasted about 5 minutes and then siezed up nicely, so I think something more than that is required. A friend ran his for a year with just the initial duralube treatment, so maybe mine was a dud, but i know mine sure siezed up.

I have used mine for about 6 months and iuse air tool oil and no prob yet:rasta:
