I have a 98 1500 4x4 ram and was wondering what lift you guys would suggest? I really only want to go about 3 inches

For off the shelf kits, I recommend the Skyjacker Class I Single Flex System. 3" lift coils, trackbar drop bracket, new pitman arms, swaybar drop brackets (all basic kit), new control arms with one fixed end and heims at the other (Single Flex option), single shocks since no real need for duals unless desert running or jumps are your thing (Class I option) and new rear leaf packs ("System option... "Kit" is add-a-leaf)

really depends on what you want to do with your truck. I have a rancho 3", with new arms, dropped pitman arm, coil spacers up front, and add a leafs in the back. I have dual rs9000's in the front, singles in the rear. works pretty good most of the time, but alittle stiff for my liking. if I had to do it over, I would have saved up more and bought a fabtech5", but for now I am happy, and it works well, expecally for 33" muds.. which I am changing out hopefully.

I totally agree with that! There are much better options for the Ram

yeah, I think basically you get what you pay for.. superlift conevert tyhe dodge to radius arms... super lift just keeps short arms, and drop brackets, fabtech has one long arm, and dick cepek has 2 long arms.. but once again, you get what you pay for.. But i also recommend a 3" skyjacker stuff like jason said.

The Cepek kit is real beefy. I've install fabtech, it's OK install superlift, it's a pile of crap. No expereance with the skyjacker dodge kit, but the skyjacker TJ kit is a little weak. You can get the Cepek stuff at Kong's. Priced good too. 602-944-2411
