The pinion off-set varies a little (salisbury v.s. standard)...What you need to know is the off-set of the t-case output(s)...And that's 6.5".

knew i could count on ya! :D

so if i took a fullwidth rearend, i could cut 6.5" off the passenger side tube and it would be rover offset? cool.

Not quite amigo. If you cut 6.5" off one side then you'll net 3.25" with the axle centered under the frame-rails (half the distance of removed material).

That's the ticket. Now get with Sam and get those 35 spline axles and spindels for it and you're forever done...Until you realize that the salisbury is 62" wide...:flipoff2:

Hmmmmm. Well cutting down the 35 spline JM axles shouldn't be too big of a deal. Cool.

for now im not gonna worry about going 35 spline, cause until this coming winter i am going to be running a stock 2.25 4 cylinder and wimpy POS tranny!

than comes the 302 and NP435, and maybe 35spline if i can afford it

whats involved in his kit anyways? why couldnt someone do the 35 conversion themselves?

You better change your signature then man!

Sure you could do the kit yourself, but with the bitchen' exchange rate to Aus. the whole deal (axles, spindles and drive flanges) was right at $460...And those axles are EN26 (?) material.
