I was there today and they had one of the nicest vehicles I have ever seen in there yard. This thing was a runner going in there. I tried to buy the whole thing but the paper work is messed up and they said it will be crushed before its sold. So if you need parts this is the one.

Wow, that's a shame. I had a 66, and they have several differences that can be spotted easily to tell what year they are. Mine had the outer door locks down low on the doors, the newer ones were mounted up on the top above the crease in the sheetmetal. Vacuum windsheild wipers, not electric motors. Bolted on windsheild frame, newer ones are tack welded on below the hinge. It also had the pin and loop to hold the windsheild down when folded open. The window frames are only bolted in, not tack welded and bolted, I used to remove mine for that hot rod look. Mine also had a hand throttle, not sure when those were eliminated. And also, a single cylinder master brake cylinder and manual steering. I also had a 289 v8, most people think the 66 only came with a straight 6.

So, have them crush the glovebox door, and sell the rest of it:D If it were worth saving, someone could do it.

It's a 66 so the #'s are on the kick panel not the glove box  but your idea still sounds good
