Sorry for the non-college level question but does anyone here tell me how in the hell the shifter comes off the Peugeot BA 10/5?

get the rubber dust covers out from around the shifter. Then there's 3 bolts holding the shifter to the trans. around the base of the shifter in a ring.

Thanks, I took off the skirt and actually pulled and it popped right out.
