Hey guys, just looking for a little help with this pretty sure it's a Scout dana 300 but the fill plug seems to be in the wrong spot :confused: Did a search here and found some pic's but none seem to have the drain plug whare mine is

That there is a dana 300. Not the location of the speedo cable connection.

Dana 20 is on the opposite side

Ya the speedo cables in the right spot and the bolt pattern's right but that drain plug is bugging me, seems like i'm the only one with this off set plug?

What if those are stripped off.....

Can scout/jeepguy or anyone post up the casting number on the case itself? I can only find dirty pictures or clean small pictures of the back of the Scout D300. Everyone posts bull gear numbers but I haven't found a case number yet.

That's one of those junk Scout Dana 300's. I'll give you 20 bucks plus shipping for it.

I have found the easiest way is the aluminum tail shaft housings. Easy to spot even on a really dirty one like this one.
