i just bought a 67 chevy 4x4 manuel every thing and need power brakes and steering. what do i need for the conversion.the front is is now a disc front with factory brack m/c no power help me .............i also need a set of factory front springs or a way to keep the 73 and up front springs and move the shackle or front hanger.............thanx sheldon:beer:

For the power stuff I think it all just bolts in. You should get a disc master when you get the power booster. The box and pump for the p/s I think are bolt in as well. You shoulden't have trouble with them...just about any year should work (60's-80's).

Are the 73- front springs lift springs or stock?
If stock you might want to look for someone who ditched their stock springs for lift springs...I would go with pre-73 springs if this is the case.
If they are lifted springs I would stay with the 73- springs, move the front spring hanger forward, and make some longer shackles.

i've searched and searched the net and can't confirm that the 73 and up power steering box and booster will bolt up does any one know for sure..i do have a 79 suburban that i can take the stuff off of and one more question the trans makes alot i mean alot of noise can i swap the sm 465 and np205 directly into the truck with no problems? the thing im worried about is the t-case shifter............thanxs again
