I'm comin out to phoenix for the weekend to visit my best friend and we wanna go wheelin on saturday. We decided we wanted to run the back road to Crown King on Saturday. I know its not a hardcore trail but its one of my favorites just for scenery and fun.
After we finish Crown King we're thinkin we'll have lunch at the Mill and then come down and run Raw Deal on the way back to town if there's time and we aren't totally beat.
I'm just wondering who would be interested in comin along. I'd like to meet some new people and have fun. Nothing is set in stone yet but i'm thinkin of meeting around 8am at deer valley and I17 or somewhere around there.

Both those trails are closed due to fire danger, but a bunch of stuff around Table Mesa Rd. is still open (basically everything EXCEPT Raw Deal.)

That area is closed due to fire danger. Alot of the Table Mesa area is open. Well at least the BLM part.

FAWK!! I dont make it to AZ in 5 months and they close all the shit i wanna play on. damn it. ok lets see what else we can plan. i wanna wheel that weekend. I wanna do something tough, but not to the point of breaking. i gotta drive back to san diego sunday night. trucks running 35s on a D44 front with stock shafts, D300, 700R4, 4.3, and about 96" wheelbase. this will also be the first real wheelin with my girlfriend, so i'd like to keep the carnage down.

Sounds like you could run upper and lower Terminator if you have a rear locker.

yeah i forgot to mention, Front and rear ARBs. How long a trail is this? anyone have maps of the area that show the trails around table mesa. I've run raw deal but nothing else in the area. I'm also on the USFS website checkin around to see about all the closures. thanks guys.
