I have this 400m thats out getting machined. My machinist is really insisting i figure out a way to make the rocker arms adjustable, otherwise i'd have to mess around with shims and stuff to set it up. I saw crane makes some kind of conversion kit for it, and i told him about it, and he's kind of skeptical about it, says he doesnt see how it could work.

So now i'm kind of confused, anyone use this kit?

there are kits out there to do what your wanting to do , we used to run them on a dirt track car and didnt have any trouble out of it . i dont remember if the heads had to be machined to make them work or not .

Well, i can make it adjustable by machining it without any kit. These ones claim there's no machining, and i've heard some people say they use them with no problems. My machinist doesnt quite seem to believe it though, and he knows a lot more about it that me...so it makes me wonder...
