I haven't weighed it yet as a combo, but from the settling of the rear springs when loaded, I'd guess that it has a pin weight of around 2500 -3000 lbs, which would make it 5500 - 6000 lbs on the rear axle. Maybe one of these next trips I'll get it across a scale as a unit, to get axle by axle weights.

My combo weighs in at about 13,00lbs wiht my racer - trail rig would be a fair bit heavier, I think.

Racer alone is 4k-lbs.. scary to think what the trail rig weighs with spare parts, an interior, a windshield, doors, bigger tires, etc.

Offhand, anyone know what the max weight limit for towing and hauling on a PSD 1 ton crew cab? (I'd look myself but I'm at work and the truck is at home:( )

Norm, yah...what DSI said. I've talked about bringing a small keg (pig or pony) camping but never got around to it yet. Maybe now that I have a camper I can do it:)

Now if I could get my `73 powerwagon into the bed of my
`92 cummins like the sammy is, then I could pull my 11ft eggshaped aluminum sided 50's travel trailer and life would be great. Until then it's cummins, flat bed , powerwagon, and tent city!
I would say 12-13ish- 5200 cummins 2wd:(, 4700 pw, 1200 trailer, 1000+or- for the wardon and general bs.

Anyone know a company that makes a light two car trailer? I want to buy a camper and a two car trailer so I can take both the pw and my fiberglass buggy to the desert at once. Then life would be great.
