What do I have to do to use my stock driveline with toy axels? Can I drill new holes in either flange to make them work? This is going to be a temp fix while I get my c/v drivline adapted to fit. Any other ideas would be helpfull as well. thanx chuck

don't quote me on this:flipoff2: but :
#1- i *believe* the Toy third members are longer than the Sammy's, so i don't know how you could use the stock zuk d/s without cutting shortening and rewelding-PITA even if just temp?
i also don't know if you've taken this into account and have extended your wheelbase, too?
#2- isn't the rear Toy pumpkin centered* vs the zuk's offset? you couldn't make the stock sammy d-shaft work with that.
*assuming you have mini truck (vs fj's that have the offset?)
#3- as far as the flanges go, yes you can rotate them and redrill the bolt pattern. IF you have the zuk "large" flange (from '86 and up i believe) but quite honestly i have only heard of everything being the other way around, regarding mating the Toy d/s to the zuk pinion/t-case flanges, and it requires a little machining to enlarge the centre of the zuk yoke flanges.....
good luck, Chuck:D

I just went through this very thing.I have toyota axles in my sami and I was running the trail tough longer slip yokes on the stock sami d/s.The vibes were pretty bad so I got a flange off a newer t-case and redrilled it to toyota bolt pattern and replaced the smaller flange on my rear output from the t-case.I used a front cv shaft from a 79-83 toyota 4x4 truck in the rear, just the right size and no more vibrations at all.I also have a yj spring conversion using stock yj springs.I need to do the front now
