Closest fuel to the trailhead when coming westbound on 50?

Kyburz? Strawberry? Other?

Kyburz is the last one going west-bound.

I could be wrong but I thought Robbs, once again has gas. Or maybe it's just the other place a few miles in on Ice House Rd. Sorry, can't recall the name right now. Ice House Resort? But if either do have it it ain't going to be cheap.

If you are coming down 50 Silver Fork is your last option for decent priced gas. If you want to get closer to the trail you can get gas at Ice House Resort for a much higher price and I'm not sure if Robbs is selling gas but you can always contact them. http://www.dorobbs.com

After a little more thought the closest station on highway 50 to the Ice House Rd intersection might be at Fresh Pond. If your coming from the Tahoe side (heading west) you'd have to go past the turn off, about 5 miles. I'd guess Kyburz to the Ice House intersection to be about 10 miles. I'm not exactly sure where Silver Fork is but since Disco lists his location as Placerville I'd assume he knows the area.

yeah robs has gas, i got some a couple weeks back. about 5 bucks a gallon i think..

Silver Fork is about 10 cents more than Pollock Pines 3.19 vs 3.09 this weekend

Kyburz is closest from Tahoe, Fresh pond is about 5 miles from Ice House rd and 50 towards pollock pines.. gas was $3.19 this morning, Ice house resort has gas but it will cost you and they arn't always open.... Robb's is putting in a gas station but its not done yet. hope this helps.

I work at Robb's no gas YET!!!!

What surprised me was that fuel was cheaper at Kyburz then it was in South Tahoe.
