Moved down to Valdosta this year and haven't been able to get out and explore as much as I'd like. Does anyone know any places in this region (South GA) to go to? I'm pretty much game for most things. Thanks.

RIVERROCKORV.COM
There R Many Rock Obstacles That Have Off Camber Man Made Type Wholes That Can Swallow Smaller Rigs Most Climbs R Man Made But They Have Located The Rocks In Tough Wheelbase Areas Which Makes It Fun And You Have To Take Differnt Lines I Would Definitely Recommend The Park And The Owners Are Very Friendly Good Luck

There used to be some sand dunes you could play on near Albany. Not sure if its still open though. Nothing hard core, just some hills and lots of sand.

unless you find some folks with private land most everything around here is closed now. We used to go under the overpass on the mall exit on the west side of 75, for mud and some easy trails but its posted now due to kids leaving beer bottles, and trash out there. it is called the gun range. The Alapaha river was real good with deep sand and rocks but that is now closed too. If you like mud Bogs go to Perry Fl, i think the last W/E of oct when they have the Pine tree festival there are one or two BIG bogs, expect to wait in line to get in. Check out "my jeep club" they are going to Morris mountian this month and they are local and bunch of good wheelers

The sand dunes in albany are mostly for ATV's. The dunes are shrinking everyday due to people building parking lots on them. Such a waste. There's not much rock climbing but lot's of mud bogging. Some guys around my town usually get together one or twice a month. Usually have a big bog that day then drinks and music that night. At the last one we prolly had about 500 people show up. PM me and i'll give you a location.
