looks good doesnt it!

from looking at the site its running a custom coil spring setup front and rear. It would be interesting to find out what he did with it if it isnt RR/defender set up.

The guy with the Aloha rovers site is a regular on one of the forums I drop in on, possibly the lro list but im not sure.

Its coils but we need to find out more about this setup:smokin:

PS. 9 Volt are you feeling a change of plans coming on again?

no no no!!!!

you dont want to be messing arround with coil springs mate go and have a look at your other thread and you will see that there is no reason for a leaf spring rig not to flex even a mild English rig like mine. Besides its just about time you stopped changing plans and got your rig out on the trails. Leaf springs are also your easiest route to real flex and from there onto a running truck:smokin:

The truck belongs to Eric Neil. He is a member of PCRC in Oregon and Washington. I think it is an 88" frame, 2.5 desiel, and Rover axles. I have some other pictures of the truck if you want to post them.

Two years ago when the Serious One was but a rolling chassis, Mike had it at the All British Field Meet (ABFM) for a little show-and-tell. Erich's wheels started turning. The following year (2001) his mean machine was traveling on coils.

He was running the 34x9.5 Swampers on Orange rims. I was the fortunate recipiant of those cast offs. He lives on Mercer Is, AKA Seattle. Adam, PM me for his address etc.
