i'm just putting a set of new gears and diffs in my truck and was wondering if this sounds right... 4.11 in the rear and 4.09 in the front. i have a 9" and a dana 44. i was told that it will work fine, but i was wondering if anyone could tell me how it works for them if they have the same sets. i think i would notice the front binding against the rear if i was on dry pavment and in 4wd. but i don't know...

Not enough difference to matter.

(Ford put 3.54 and 3.50 in many trucks from the factory)

It will be fine. There were many, many trucks that came with 4.09/4.11 gear sets from the factory.
