: I need MSD help

On a 77 CJ7 with a breakerless ignition will I need a ballisist resistor along with the MSD offroad and MSD coil?

Nope. No balast necessary and if you use one it won't work properly. MSD has some good online manuals, with schematics, try their site. If you got other questions after that, pm me.
