Ok, so this is the 5th coil in the last 3 years that my wifes 93 grand has :nuke: 'd

WTF is causing this. Its driving me crazy.

Any ideas? What other info you need?

258ci, auto......... what else?

LMMFAO.. uhm yeah..... my motor will run great with the coil wire plugged into a big fat leaf spring precariously welded into the engine compartment.

How are the plug wires? Dist cap? Plugs? The coil might not like pushing current through old wires and distributer cap with high resistance.

Also I have a friend that always got his ZJ hot while towing. He's been through a couple of coils. They don't like heat. He fixed it by upgrading - to a WJ...
