thanks , what do you think about the crane cam ?

is the intake duration enough for a 383 ? or should i go with a 212 or 214.

i want as much bottom end torque as possible.

The crane cam will probably make less HP and torque than the comp cam that is in it. Comp XE and Lunati VooDoo cams have newer lobe designs that open the valves much quicker. Also the change is going to be very little. Going to a longer intake duration will make the engine lose bottom end and move the power band up.

i was told that as long as i keep the intake duration under 214 that i would have good bottom and mid range tq. my truck pulls hard up to 4500 and thats it no more power. :shaking: good want more rpm's around 5500 or so.

i was also looking into gm 12370845
