Thanks to this post I realized Going 6 lug might be a problem with my Lincoln 9" http://www.pirate4x4.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=4&t=006329
my 9" build up plan was to use the housing and caliper brackets. I have the strange centersection and 35 spline spool. I still need to get the gears.
But now I am hearing that their moight be a problem going six lug with the lincoln rotors.
The Lincoln Rotors are 5 on 4.5
I don't think the six lug pattern will fit within the mounting area of the rotors properly.
Anybody have any ideas other then throw it away and go with 60's <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0">
I'm going to try to mock it all up tonight to see if there is enough clearance on the rotor to go six lug.
Any body know if there is another rotor that might work with tthe lincoln caliper mounting setup.
Maybe I will have to use caliper brackets that are welded to the axle housing.
