I cut my '79 RC60 down to 65" WMS to WMS. Now I need to make a mount for the trac bar on the axle. Does it matter how long I make it? What is the best way to do it? Does it matter how high I make the mount off of the axle. How close to the knuckle should it be. Does any of this matter or am I making it complicated than it should be?

Also, with the EB on level ground how much clearance should I have between the top of the pig and the oil pan? I think I am a little close??? Anyone care to take a measurement?

Thanks!

make it as long as you can and at the same angle (or the same length as your draglink) as your draglink...or if you do hydro steer make it flat as possible. or just scrap that system for a traingulated 3 4 or Y

Don't cross post:rolleyes:

Follow Silly on trac bar. General rule is similar length and parallel to drag link.
You definitely don't want the pig to kiss the oil pan. Cycly the suspension and figure it out or just get some good bumpstops
