What are people's thoughts on using a wishbone style (3 link) traction bar with one point at the axle with two on the frame? I figure with one link at the axle this should keep the axle under control yet articulate without too much bind on the springs.....any thoughts?

Thought about using the a ladder style with shackle but I am low enough to the ground with some items and don't want anything to catch on the rocks.

I was going to make the same thing for my 76 chevy, but I decided that if I was going to go to all that trouble I would just do a 4 link instead.

Try it and tell us how it works. :D

dog walker had this setup on his cruiser with his drop shackles. it was super effective as far as i knew. it was a heim on the axle, and one on each fraim rail. a huge triangle. super bitchen!:rasta:

A body put did that very thing to his toyota truck and he just snapped it off right at the axlethe first rock he slide of off. It was fighting the side to side movement of the springs.
