svt150j49 08-12-2007, 11:24 PM get a little carried away with the yellow paint, did ya?
your RA's look like white rhino's
scooter141 08-13-2007, 12:09 AM Yea, I pm'ed him about 50 times before I started my Front suspension. Thats why they look like his, that was kinda what I wanted, so I got advice from him.
Thanks, Todd S.
Oh yea, the yellow paint was free. Dont sweat the color choice man.:D
Wait till you see my Drive Shafts......
Poohbair 08-13-2007, 04:37 PM did you make your own motor mounts, or buy conversion mounts?
scooter141 08-13-2007, 04:47 PM I think I used 1986 Mustang GT mounts. Put the right on the left, and the left on the right. It worked allright. I had just read horror stories about the swap mounts putting the motor at an odd angle.
WHITE RHINO 08-13-2007, 10:13 PM at least i got recognition ha! looks good
hitech_hick 08-14-2007, 08:37 AM What are you going to do for recovery/bumpers?
hick
scooter141 08-14-2007, 03:22 PM What are you going to do for recovery/bumpers?
hick
I would like to get a Warn 8000# and make some good looking bumpers.
I am taking it on Vacation to SW Colorado after Labor Day weekend. When we get back its on to phase two. Bumpers, two batterys, 4-link rear, Paxton Supercharger, convert it to Mass Air, and other little stuff.
And White Rhino, You get allot of recognition from me. THANKS AGAIN for the info.
sickford 08-14-2007, 03:39 PM What is your wheelbase now, and what is your projected wheelbase when the rear is linked? Thanks.
WHITE RHINO 08-14-2007, 06:19 PM no problem
how much did you lengthen them? they look way longer than mine, did you plate them like i said? i might be plating them again soon with 3/8s
WHITE RHINO 08-14-2007, 06:29 PM also truss that front axle you will twist the tubes
93chico4by 08-14-2007, 06:41 PM If b2s have a 94" wheelbase it sure looks like those radius arms are way over half that. Maybe 50-55" Seems like a serious rock anchor to me.
