Just thought I'd share some pics from Lower 2 on Saturday. Jerry of FLCA spotted us up.

It's at Tellico. I'm not really sure if it's NC or TN, the trails go on both sides of the border.

Lower 2 is on the N.C. side at Tellico, but right on the border with Tn.

From the pics, it looks like it's really dried up in the last week or so. I was just there on the 4th and it was slick and wet. We went down, not up though.

Yeah, it was dry as a bone. I highly doubt we would have made it on wet rocks.

Damn if it's that dry on Sat I'm going up the right side. I was damp the last time I was there.

I followed Terry down Lower 2. I went into some of the lines on the left that were a bit tougher and got kicked right off my line. It was just wet enough to slide you off bigger rocks.

We go Back I want to go up both lower and upper 2:smokin:

I did it in may, and it had rained earlier that week (or maybe it was the night before... I dont remember now), and the trail was still wet.

Too bad I missed you guys out there this weekend. Hopefully we can bump into each other on the trail some other time.

NC, the national park is in TN the OHV Trails are in NC. :D

Yeah, we were camped at Crawford's and had a FJ40 break on Lower 2, so we didn't make it over to McNabb's for very long. I'm sure we'll run into each other sometime. You guys are all over the place.

This was my first time up there. That place had me turned around all over the place. If it wasn't for my GPS, I'd still be driving around out there :D
