there is a Buick Grand National for sale on Craigslist. For those who don't know, it's a BUICK that can take on several corvettes. It has a blown motor but for 5 g's, its worth it.

If I didn't have 25 million cars, I'd get it...but...ya know :(

And what, pray tell, does this have to do with Land Cruisers:confused:

Maybe he's thinking we would want to put the blown motor in a 40:confused:

Maybe he wants to be the FASTEST down the 'con, in his FJ40 with a perfectly matching faded tan hard top?

Its got nothing to do with 40's. But guess what? A 40 is not the only car in the world believe it or not! I like fast cars too and its a good deal. I just cant get it so I was wondering if someone else wanted it.

Aahhhh the Grand National, I remember when the Indiana State Troopers started using them. There was no escape after that. IMHO it's Mopar or no car but I have a friend that I'll pass that on to.;) Wasn't that the car that the last year they made them with twin turbos adding a couple hundred horses to an already overpowered car?

The last year (87) sported an intercooler and a few cosmetic changes.

actually, the stock 87 gn ran a 13.9 and the gnx ran a 13.4

The gnx was when buick teamed with MacLaren, makers of the F1 and they did a few changes to the body suspension and engine. Its a single turbo unit that was able to push out 21 psi with stock tuning and 30 tweaked. Unbelievable, isn't it? This is out of a 3.8 liter also. My friend has an 84 t-type with just a performance chip and no intercooler and runs like a 14. Once he throws an intercooler in there, he'll be running 12's :)
