: Simple d44 carrier bearing Q cmk 06-12-2002, 10:28 AM Are ALL d44 carrier bearings identical? i.e. Does my '98 TJ factory rear d44 use the same carrier bearings (Timken P/N: 25523 & 25590) as a '78 Ford hp44 front carrier? A simple yes or no will suffice. Same side gears, spiders and crosshaft; same carrier. Same pinion bearings and seal, too. Different gears for RR, and different cover (higher plug).
