Hey, can any of you guys with a 800 take a moment and find out for me the distance between the 2 holes in the frame that holds the bumper on?

I can take a moment, it is force times perpendicular distance, or if you prefer vectors, r X F (cross product of position vector and force vector).

I'd have blake measure on the '69 but the front crossmember is, uh...gone.

Good luck on the tow bar setup. Talk to ya soon.

Well, the frames are 32" on center..I would assume that the hole are centered within the frames so that makes them....uh...32" accross right?:rasta:

Seeing as how my bumper was welded on...I don't know if the holes that are on the top and bottom of the frame ends are the bumper mounting hole...I was assuming so though.

That's true for the 4-cyl framed 80/800, because the front crossmember was back (as you well know) from the front. The 800 Joe is getting has the v-8 frame, so the crossmember is right up front. He's wondering if it will have holes vertically through the front crossmember at some spacing, like Scout II's have, instead of just the ones through the frame rail at 32" o.c. ;)

Wow, that response was almost nice enough for BB. I'd better fix that....

AND YOU SUCK FOR NOT KNOWING THAT ALREADY!! :flipoff2:
