So I have a megacab, and I need a 5th wheel hitch... What is a good one that doesn't cost a fortune, and works well? I've seen the Reeses, but they are a little cheesy, but the price is right..

I have a "Hijacker Ultra" seems to be a pretty good hitch. It came with my camper so not sure of the cost. http://www.lowcosttrailersupplies.com/Merchant3/merchant.mvc?page=LCTS/CTGY/H5WG
shows them from $500.00 to $1000.00. Anyway you can convert to a gooseneck?

HiJacker, but you aren't pimp unless you go Autoslide.

With the Dodges, it is highly recommended that you go autoslide. I have seen several trucks that can't even drive in town without sliding the hitch. What trailer are you towing?

Also, as you have already found out, Dodge is picky about what you do with their trucks. HiJacker has the best frame bracket system for mounting the hitch, unless you are gonna really drop some coin on custom brackets. HiJacker bracket kit for the Dodge is about $75. Custom brackets can go as high as $5-600. The nice thing about the HiJacker hitches is that they are modular. If you need to change something on the hitch, like upgrade from a 16k to a 21k hitch, you aren't stuck with replacing the entire hitch. You just need to swap out a few components.

my superglide was tits, but I think they have more competition now. I have an offset ball mount for my GN and an offset stinger for the trailer, gets the job done for me and my pin weight is maybe an inch or two behind the axle, pee in the pond when you do the math.
