Anybody put air bumps or jounceshocks on a ZJ? I'm wanting to do airbumps on all four corners on mine, but I'm at a total loss on how/where to mount 'em! Especially the in the rear.

or just cut a hole in the stock bumpstop area for the front. On the rear you could sink them into the frame rail or run a bracket off the side.

both make air bump kits for the front.

tandj makes air bump kit for the rear of an xj.. you could make it work easily on the zj

The T and J kit sucks! I got a kit from them and the front was nothing more than a 1/4" set screw in a piece of tube. They said that the little 1/4" set screw was all that was needed to hold in the air bump. I complained once I got it since I ordered the clamp style air bump kit but got the cheezy set screw design. They do not do refunds and nowhere is that stated on their website or reciept. So I spoke with Tom Barnett (Owner) and he said he would get me a clamp style kit. Ok so I was happy that they did that, but the clamp kit I got had a sleeve at the end with a MASSIVE 1/2" bolt at the end with the cut in the tube maybe 2 inches long. IT WAS A TOTAL PIECE OF CRAP for the $150 I paid for it and they will not do anything about it. I tried calling Tom but he will not return my phone calls. They said that the coils will catch the clamp style but I wonder if maybe there wasnt a 1/2" bolt on the bump can, maybe the coil wouldnt catch or at least not catch as bad. Every other bump stop can I have seen on the market uses a 5/16" or a 3/8" bolt to clamp down on the bump stop. Needless to say I took the piece of crap that T and J sent me and a few hours later made something that will work and looks much better than the crap they sent.

Search around on here and check out the JeepSpeed page and see .how the XJ guys mounted their bump cans and you should be able to make mounts for a lot less than the T and J kit.

I looked at the TJ stuff and thought about the same as above. Really high prices for questionable looking parts.

Rear kit for 160? It's a U channel piece with a piece of tube?

Whew, 900 bucks? That is just not even going to happen.

I'm for the idea of cutting up my coil bucket and welding a bump can or something in place of the factory bump, just unsure of how to execute that.
