So UTAH guys, can you get a YJ inspected without a windsheild...??

OR how is it in your state?

along the same lines...here's a link to the Texas transp. codes.click here (http://www.capitol.state.tx.us/statutes/tr/tr054700toc.html)

Here's all I could find on Utah DOT click here (http://www.dot.state.ut.us/) look around and see if you can find something..

In CO, you need either a windshield or eye protection (sun glasses).

All you need in TX is a piece of plastic or something in the lower corner on driver side to display inspection and registration sticker.

I drive around a LOT in the summer with the windshield folded, never even got the police's attention. <IMG SRC="smilies/tongue.gif" border="0">

texas is a lot more lax than some states. they just require a clear field of view. utah may be different, when i went to moab and drove around town with no wind sheid and no doors, i got some strange looks. but it was in a land cruiser fj62. so its not likly they see that ever day. drove buy a bunch of cops and never got hasseled. just stop and ask a cop, see how he interpits the law, better ask a few and see if they have the same answers. later mike
