1997 Jeep TJ 6cyl.
Jeep ran fine, pulled it into the garage, installed a lift kit, and pulled the tank and installed skid plate, bumper etc. Anyway, ran new brake lines, and removed the ABS motor (simply unplugged the wires). Now, try to start it today after putting the tank back in, and no fire. I checked fuses, all are good. It is getting fuel (pressure at the rail). I'm guessing something simple like a safety somewhere that I have missed. Any suggestions?

Did you do any welding on it? This has been known to fry a few computers if the battery and computer where not disconnected beforehand. Retrace your steps.

Yep, done some welding for sure. LOL! Um, well how is the easiest way to check the computer without a donar? My buddy has a 4cyl 97. Probably aren't the same though.

yea always remove the battery cables before welding anything, Just a good rule of thumb to be safe.

Will it run codes for you? Try holding the trip reset button down while you turn the ignition to the on position (without starting) and then release the trip button. See what happens

OK, if I hold in the trip reset and turn onthe key, where the mileage display is it starts with 111111, then flashes to 222222 etc. until 999999, then goes back to displaying the mileage. Each guage will also jump a couple of times.
