USA-ALL ACTION ALERT
IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUESTED
Greetings All,
Most of you, at least at some level, are aware of the situation in California where recreationists are fighting several lawsuits,
important land planning and Boxer's very bad wilderness bill. It may seem logical to view the situation in California
pessimistically. Actually, the situation represents a rare opportunity to show strong public support for continued vehicle based
recreation and access in an election year. I believe, if you recreate using a vehicle (even mountainbike) anywhere in America,
you have a stake in what's going to happen in California in the next 5 months.
We've identified 3 ACTION ITEMS to help you help our friends in CA. Frankly, I think we've made the whole thing far to
easy!! I'm certain that you folks will get spoiled after this one and insist all our ACTION ITEMS be this easy. Well, don't count
on it!! ; -)
Apologies for saying this bluntly; The time has come for recreationists to draw a LINE IN THE SAND. Membership,
involvement and vigorous political action are the orders of the day. Do the ACTION ITEMS today and rest well knowing you
are part of the solution. Thank you.

P.S. This weeks Monday Dispatch will be in your inbox in a second. Apologies for the delay.
USA-ALL ACTION ALERT
SITUATION:
Threats to numerous to mention could close millions of acres of public lands in CA. Details are on our website:
http://www.usa-all.com How can a family from Utah or Colorado or Tennessee lend a hand? Three ACTION ITEMS are
below. #1 is mandatory, #2 is highly recommended and #3 is for folks living in or near California.
ACTION ITEM ONE:
OHV users need to show support for the positive, and opposition to the negative components of a very important travel plan:
Glamis. If you go there, we need you to write a comment letter on behalf of your family. If you haven't ever heard of this weird
Glamis place, and never ever plan to go there, we still need you to write a comment letter. Do it now, it will only take a minute.
Go to: http://www.usa-all.com then click on "Action Alerts/Letter Writer" )
ACTION ITEM TWO:
Donate $20.00. This is no joke. Even a donation as small as twenty dollars that goes to a Political Action Committee or to a
Legal Action Fund could easily be the most effective thing you do all year. That is.... except for what you do on election day,
that's when we need you at the polls. There are lots of good organizations to choose from. Use their websites. Do it today.
ACTION ITEM THREE:
On Thursday July 11 2002, there will be Public Land for Public Use Protest Rally held at Senator Boxer's offices in
Sacramento, San Bernardino, Los Angeles and San Diego. Let me say this directly: If you live in California and you are able to
attend any one of these events, but you choose not to attend, then do not call this number the next time the feds want to close a
road, or you need some cash for the latest lawsuit. Californians have never had a greater opportunity to show public support
for continued vehicle access on public lands in an election year. They need to stand up and be counted.
