I was just up by Meadow Lake on Sun breakin in the new quads. Actually ran into a couple snow drifts. Not much, but figured I'ld mention it to kinda give an idea that there's still some winter runoff flowing.

WARNING + Note + Expect 400 cfs until Fri Jun 14

marginally do-able

Robert Payne spoke with the Fordyce dam keeper in person at the put-in on Saturday. At the time, the combined spill plus release was 593 cfs on the gauge

NO EFFIN WAY!

What time are you going in. The wife and I are planning on running Fordyce this weekend and then hitting the Rubicon backwards, but if the water is flowing heavily then I don't know if I want to run Fordyce alone. We are planning on being up there around 8pm on Friday.

Hey Rick

So... do you know what the flow is? Are you guys just going to hang out by the first crossing? I was hoping to make it all the way through, but if the water is too high I think I might hang for awhile then hit the 'Con.

This is the first river crossing at approximately 470cfs

I went a week ago in my cruiser all the way to meadow lake, there was water over the hood and FLOWINF. No snorkel, and i was a bit scared.

There were othere tracks All the way to the top.

What is really important is that someont brings a BIG chain saw there are BIG trees down, like 3 feet in diamiter, and the bypasses that have been created are MAKING A MESS OF THE SOFT GROUND. If we can organize a weekend clean up i will help but i have no chain saw.

Have fun up there.

:shiver: Too many bad experiences with hydrolocking for you to get me to cross that thing without a snorkle. Water sucks...
